We all know that kids in today’s generation between the ages of 10 to 16 spend an average of six hours a day in front of the screen. Like my three kids they are always in front of the TV watching their favorite cartoon network. This inactivity leads to poor fitness, obesity and higher risk of anxiety and depression. As a mom we are very busy with at work but we need to help them how to be active in other activities. So, to make sure that your kids will not miss out the exercise time and schedule activity blocks on a large calendar. Each family member can be responsible for booking fitness time on certain days. Get everyone involves. Then support after school physical activities. Get involved at your children schools and encourage them to participate in meaningful and enjoyable activities. You can even volunteer to help coach a sports team or supervise outdoor playtime after school.

Beauty Tips For You

Hello friend! I hope you enjoy the day. I would like to share these important tips on how to apply your make up. First, you have to take a bath or wash your face thoroughly, removing any dirt and oil that may be trapped in your skin. Secondly, you have to use a toner to help the application of make up and to balance out skin. This works well if suffering from combination skin. Make sure any make up application brushes or pads are clean from any oil or dirt so as to not transfer them to your face. Once make up has been applied, do not adjust or smear by touching your face with your hands. This will only mess the make up and will transfer oils from your fingers to your face. Then mist face carefully after make up application to ensure that make up sets and lasts.

Due to modern technology most of our kids don’t like to engage in any outdoor activities. Most of them stay in front of the computer to play games or watching you tube or listening to their favorite music. Kids today are different unlike before during our time we’re fun of playing at the backyard, play in the fresh air and spending more time outside with friends and neighbors. As a parents we need to encourage our kids to plant flowers in the garden. Since summer is fast approaching, t is nice for the children to enjoy life outside such as malling, picnic, swimming and many more. You need to help them develop and appreciate the beauty of nature. Help them to appreciate natural sceneries and enjoy gardening.

Most of the flowers are roses, vanda, bleeding hearts and many more. Some flowers were already blooming but the others need more weeks to bear flowers.

As a mom it is not easy to take care of my three little kids. It is really hard especially during cold and flu season. If they got cold and flu I always advise them to drink more water, juices and other liquids to cleanse the body. I always remind them the importance of hand washing to prevent the spread of germs. According to the sayings, “prevention is always the best medicine to your health”. That’s why I always keep on saying wash your hands before and after eating. Then, eat only healthy foods at school such as fruits, biscuits and vegetables. Avoid foods with too much sugar, fats or salt. My kids said, yes mommy promise then I smile and said thank you Lord for giving me these three humble kids.

But according to the article that I read last week, studies have shown that this is not the case. The major contributor to high blood cholesterol is having a diet high in saturated and trans fat. High cholesterol foods have a little, if any direct effect on blood cholesterol levels if eaten in moderate amounts. It should be not more than 300 mg of cholesterol per day. So, be aware that trans fat is as bad as saturated fat. It is said that just five grams of trans fat each day can increase the risk of heart disease by 25 percent. So, be careful just eat healthy foods so that our family will stay healthy and away from any diseases.
