Ham At Christmas

IMG_1898

This is one of the foods I prepare last Christmas. It’s my kids favorite food with yummy rice. They like it especially during lunch time. Even not Christmas I prepare ham for them. They usually bring ham at school for their lunch. It’s a little bit expensive but it’s okey as long as my kids love it. Well, not only my kids my hubby and I loves to eat ham also.

Physical Activities

We all know that kids in today’s generation between the ages of 10 to 16 spend an average of six hours a day in front of the screen. Like my three kids they are always in front of the TV watching their favorite cartoon network. This inactivity leads to poor fitness, obesity and higher risk of anxiety and depression. As a mom we are very busy with at work but we need to help them how to be active in other activities. So, to make sure that your kids will not miss out the exercise time and schedule activity blocks on a large calendar. Each family member can be responsible for booking fitness time on certain days. Get everyone involves. Then support after school physical activities. Get involved at your children schools and encourage them to participate in meaningful and enjoyable activities. You can even volunteer to help coach a sports team or supervise outdoor playtime after school.

I Love Pizza

I felt bored that why I asked my brother to buy a pizza for me. I miss pizza already and I love to eat it. Within few minutes my brother is back and of course I immediately eat the pizza. It’s so yummy and I eat 3 slice of it. My niece only eat one slice and the other slice is for my mom, brother and sister. We enjoyed eating together with soft drinks.

Yummy Dessert

Usually during Christmas holiday we prepare a lot of foods. It’s a time of parties, get together and a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It’s our tradition to share gifts and invite more friends at home. It’s also the time to forgive and forget the past. This yummy dessert was taken during our reunion at the nearby restaurant. This is also my kids favorite that’s why I take picture of this.

And, here the procedure to follow:

1. Use a casserole, heat the oil and saute the garlic, onion and ginger.
2. Then add the chicken and water.
3. Bring to a boil and lower fire, let simmer until chicken is cooked.
4. Pour in patis, salt and pepper to taste.

Picnic At The Farm

The weather was a little bit cold last week but my sister already set the schedule for picnic at the farm. After our church service at around twelve in the afternoon we proceed to the said park. We have lots of foods such as fried chicken, fries, pizza, spring rolls, hamburger, chicken barbecue, pork barbecue, corn, potato chips, rice and fried fish. Most of the flowers are roses, vanda, bleeding hearts and many more. Some flowers were already blooming but the others need more weeks to bear flowers.
