Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 12th Wedding Anniversary. I’m very happy because all this time we are still together despite of the trials that we’ve been through from the very start of our marriage ’til this point of time. The happiness and laughter that we shared for sometime are manifestations of our strong marriage life. Sometimes we had understandings but it won’t last for long unsolved. It’s a part of marriage life to face trials that make the relationship stronger especially if there is love and respect to each other. It’s just a test on how we could handle it through faith in GOD and love to our children. A family would become stronger and intact as long as husband and wife know how to adjust in any situation through ups and downs.  For us we’re very proud to say that we reached this stage of marriage right now. Yesterday we had gone to a date and together we refreshed ourselves with a halo- halo special paired with hamburger and egg sandwich. Now we celebrate it together with our little children at home. We eat fried and roasted chicken and vanilla ice cream together. Celebrating it with the family makes our anniversary meaningful and memorable.

All About Me

100_0510

I was the 4th child in the family of six, born on  April with a zodiac sign of Aries. At an early age I learned how to read independently that made me an honor student during my elementary days. My father died when I was still eleven and about to graduate that same year. I felt sad of losing a father like him, loving, caring especially when I had a fever, and a provider to us. I could say that I was once his favorite daughter as what had they told me, maybe because I was still young then. Knowingly that most of the parents acted like that. I’ve got the highest honors during graduation but I wasn’t so happy because of his death.

When I studied secondary course my determination towards success wasn’t so strong. It had a big difference unlike before. But when my sister sent me a letter expecting me to graduate with flying colors I doubled my effort and thanks to GOD for I finally made it.

During my college days I studied harder to pursue my dream of becoming a professional. My endeavor was not wasted for I finally marched in the aisles of graduation last March, 1995. With God’s guidance and family inspiration I earned a degree of Bachelor in Elementary Education. Fortunately I passed the Professional Board of Elementary Teachers in the same year. On June, 1995 I taught in a private school for two years and transferred to a public school in the year 1997 of June. I could say that this was the hardest experience ever I encountered in my whole life.

My first assignment as a public school teacher was at Manay, Davao Oriental at Limentuog Primary School. The road was a little bit mountainous approaching to the school and we need to hike for almost one day. I need to cross a river and continue my journey just to reach out those innocent children in the far plunge areas to give them education, teach them to be God fearing and a good example in the society where they belong. I learned their dialect first through observation, listening, and asking some of the people out there before teaching them the languages used in medium of instruction (English/ Filipino) per subject. I was there for one year and transferred to another school together with my friend Sonia at Limentuog Elem.

School for one year only because I planned to settle down for good and I thought it was the right age for me to get married, at 25. Since my husband to be, a teacher too who happened to be my boyfriend in college (4th year) taught in Caraga another municipality of Dvo. Oriental I transferred there so we could see sometime. We were in different school and we saw each other only twice  a month.

Finally, after three years we were together in same school. Served as a public teacher there for 11 years and three months was an experience that I would treasure in my whole life, the sacrifices that I had, leaving my eldest child for four years at Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province. I had to visit her when she was three months old because two months after giving birth I had to go back to work. Four years after, I had given birth to another child, a baby girl when we decided to brought them with us despite of the environment there. The following year I gave birth to another baby girl and decided to have  a family of three kids only. They were Yaryar, Cacay, and Ade.

Last year 2007 of September we finally transferred here in the hometown of my hubby, in Monkayo. I was a grade one teacher for 2 years and  last year ’til now in grade four at Tubo- Tubo Elementary School, a barangay/barrio of Monkayo.
Teaching is the noblest profession for it liberates the people from the bondage of ignorance into the state of knowingness and liberal mindedness. As a teacher I prefer to be a purveyor of truth and light forever.

PRC License Renewal

Yesterday I went to Davao City for my PRC License renewal. I arrived at the PRC office at 10: 41 AM, so I hurriedly climbed up stairs to get a form for processing. I went to the photoshop located at the ground floor of the new building in R. Castillo St. Agdao, Davao City for a passport size id w/ name tag to be pasted on top part of the application form. Wow! my priority number is 271, oh my!disgusting… ok, i’ll waited there  until my turn. At last I was called and paid my processing fee at door 10 at around 1:27 pm. Thank you at last it was done. Then I went to Gaisano Mall to stroll and sight some model of laptop but I didn’t like their brands. So I decided to stop at Tagum City for laptop sighting. I went to Jollibee first for a snack. Then afterwards to NCCC Mall at PC Solution where I bought my Canon Printer before. They had only one model of ACER ( ASPIRE 4732Z) that was left. I bought it at Twenty- seven thousand, nine hundred pesos (P 27, 900.00) because it was the brand of my laptop too. I took a ride after my transaction and went home.
